What happened in BCEians meeting @ Country Club, Bangalore on Sunday 9th May 2010
37 people (32 BCEians, 5 spouses) and 6 lovely kids of BCEians ....
Most of the families and the enthusiastic BCEians reached by 11 am. Our heavy host did not come in time, however, BCEian Aman and Anand's leadership and coordination saved him all the beating. Finally, we could see him only during lunch :(... Most of the faces were new for everyone and we had an introduction session to know each other. Had gup-shup revising old memories, getting to know about 'lost and found' friends, playing with the kids along with hidden colorful interaction with other crowd around the swimming pool area....
Further, we proceeded for the buffet and had full of it. Non-veggies had their time with delicious rounds, whereas veggies were calm and composed with the main course and excited about the fruits and go-lab-ja-moon. Lot of photo sessions and future plans were done during the dining hour.
Post lunch, we wanted to sleep, but the loudspeaker host was creating lot of troubles....He apologized for coming late with genuine reason, however, we were in no mood to leave him without he dancing on the floor for all of us.
Then comes the round of 'Know-your-partner' with 5-6 couples participating...with questions like spouses graduation college name, favorite actor/actress, grandma's name, favorite color, shoe size, salary account bank name, etc etc....It was all fun to see more than 50% of the answers far from reality....Few of our seniors were looking nervous in front of their wives...they must have had a good lesson back home :) It was all fun for all.
We had round table view points, suggestions, ideas around the meeting, BCE and overall. People looking for job and career changes were invited to speak and some senior BCEians volunteered to be their mentors/guide.
Then the singing happened....someone with sweet voice...who? is the prize winning question for the next meeting...So can't reveal.
Finally, we had high tea ... with onion pakoras....which was mind blowing.

When is our next meeting planned?
Once in a quarter was unanimous. So, the next one will be hosted in Jun-July time-frame by Kumar Vikram / Quaiyum / Satya Prakash
