Few weeks back, we had an opinion poll and majority of us wanted to have a permanent lifelong email @bcealumni.com.
Advantages
- You@bcealumni.com can be used as a primary email for communication and collaboration as it will have almost ZERO spam and forwarded email.
- Having bcealumni.com will establish credentials for current students looking for job. A branding will start happening in the corporate world. In couple of years, the time and effort spent both by candidates as well as corporates will reduce on background check. BCEAlumni.com team will send a formal letter of introduction to establish its credentials and further can provide reference for the all alumni seeking appointment.
- All those, who donot yet have email otherwise, can start using @bcealumni.com
- Lot of other creative things can happen, which, I don't know yet.
Usage Option 1: Webmail
Our webmail is in BETA and you can check your email online like google, yahoo etc.
You can have a sneak preview here BCE Web Mail. Our Admins are testing it right now and soon it will be available.
Option 2: Email Client
You can also configure your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird etc)
If you want your email ID you@bcealumni.com, please send a request with the following details.
- Your BCE Alumni ID (Batch, branch, roll number)
- Desired User Name
- Current Email Address
